30 WORKS 30 DAYS — 2024
Month-long creative practice for artists to make new work every day
Again this year I participated in Artquest’s annual 30 Works 30 Days month-long creative practice network for artists, anywhere in the world, to make a new piece of work every day over a month. If you miss a day, you’re out of the project.
I made it through, though it was a lot tougher this year since I’m going through treatment for prostate cancer. Having to make a new photo, video, or reimagine an existing image every day for a month was challenging, but ultimately empowering as I actually focused on the very positive emotions accompanying creating a new work of art every day no matter how I was feeling.
